My name is Doncho Pachikov, I am Bulgarian.
I have no way except for to give you a few information on me, it will be obvious why I am going to disturb you with my idea - Prize John Atanazoff for education.
In the past I worked long time for Bulgarian Air Force and Airspace agency in Bulgaria.

The New PC Class

Now I am the chairman of NGO Memory in Bulgaria
and a teacher in department of Information systems in high school Intellect in Pleven.
At April 2007 we, in Intellect, opened a new computer class with the support of NGO Memory.

The director of the high school, Mr. Emil Rajkov, asked me:
Q: Doncho, Do you think it will be good to give a name of the new class?
A: Yes, it will be very smart!
Q: What name you think will be the best?
A: John Atanasoff!

The idea to give John Atanasoff name to the New PC Class was accepted immediately from Intellect Directors and in the students’ society in Intellect.
I collected information and materials about John Atanasoff’s life and works.
In the time of this my action I discovered contact information of TANGRA TanNakRa All Bulgarian Foundation and H.E. Academician Blagovest SENDOV - Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Japan.
We have very good gifts from TANGRA, book of Tammara Burton and a film about John Atanasoff.
Mr. Sendov was promised to visit out PC class, named John Atanasoff when he comes in Bulgaria back.

I received Tammara Burton’s email address from Mr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Tangra Co-chairmen.
Now we are in connection with the granddaughter of John Atanasoff.
Official opening of our PC class was at 11 May 2007.
On the base of my with Tammara Burton communication and information about our activity sent from me we have the Address to opening PC class named to John Atanasoff.
